About Me
Digital Photography:
Ever since attending Miami University I have focused on sports photography and was fortunate enough to be given the opportunity freshman year to work with the athletic department as a photographer. Over the years I have honed my skills and abilities and have worked to become the head photographer for the athletic department here at Miami University for our varsity hockey team and football. Since 2021 I have been team photographer for Miami Hockey as well as a contact at the NHL for the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Darkroom Photography:
I absolutely adore everything about darkroom photography, from rolling film to enlarging prints. When I do darkroom photography I tend to get drawn towards more serious and emotion-evoking topics. I have been fortunate enough to be awarded four separate awards for my darkroom portfolios. I was awarded third place in 2016, for my portfolio depicting the dangers of anorexia. I was awarded second place in 2017, for my portfolio showcasing time running out. Lastly, in 2018, I was awarded first place for my portfolio showcasing the disturbing truth behind domestic abuse and its effects on its victims. For my final project, 2019, I decided to dedicate my portfolio to those suffering from schizophrenia, it was also awarded first place.
